He is survived by: his mother LuElla Petersen (Schmidtke) of Montevideo; his sisters, Diane Huwe (Daniel) of Sioux Falls, SD, Debra Larsen of Canby and Cindy Lu Petersen of St. Louis, MO; his aunts, Marion Mahlum of Belview and Sarah Petersen of Olivia; and his uncle Ken Schmidtke of Montevideo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
