He is survived by: his wife Patty Schmid; his daughters, Steph Baumann (Kyle) and Kathy Kopacek (Mike); his grandchildren, Katie, Ryan, Jake Baumann, Sam, Max and Joe Kopacek; his brothers, Jim Schmid (Karen), Scott Schmid (Janice) and Mike Schmid (Liz); and his parents-in-law, Mike Davis (Karen), Terry Davis, Pete Davis, Bob Davis (Mary), Gord Davis (Anita) and Ed Davis (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
