He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Stay and Inez Stay (Christensen); his wife Joan Howe of Elizabeth's Church; his son-in-law Jim Sweeney; and his siblings, Donald, Dennis and Helen Feller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Narog (Dennis) of Maple Grove, Linda Bertram (Chris) of Hudson, WI, Mary Joan Sweeney of East Bethel, Missy Almen of St. Cloud and Angela Stay of Maple Grove; his brother John Stay (Jolene); and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Stay and Robert Howe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
