She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hockert and Rose Hockert; her husband James Bitzan; and her son Thomas Bitzan. She is survived by: her children, Monica Ostrowski (John), Theresa Anderson (Guy), Deborah Crotty (Collin), Dianne Bitzan (John Wilson), Angela Kail and Micheal Bitzan (Tim Johnson); her grandchildren, Laura Vashro (Shane), Katherine Ostrowski, Jessica Everts (Ambrose), Steven Bitzan, Daniel Anderson, Jordan Kail, Jamie Gonko (Cody), Christopher Crotty, Sara Anderson, William Wilson, Ryane Kail, Kaylene Crotty, Brandon Wilson, Peter Anderson and Anna Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Mason Sienkiewicz, Jasper Everts, Baily Vashro, Solvie Everts and Madisen Gonko. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (102 Crosier Dr N, Onamia, MN 56359). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
