He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Keim and Antonia Keim (Schroeder); his daughter-in-law Naomi Sue Keim; his sister Margaret; and his brother-in-law Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Keim of Preston, MN; his sons, Nathan Keim (Andrea Schwartz) and Jeremy Keim (Heather Kaster) of Preston; his grandchildren, Cowan, Carter, Corbin, Calvin Keim, Branden, Megan O'Conner, Allyson and Ben Klankowski; his siblings, Katherine Ellerby of Gladstone, OR, Sarah Arett of Annapolis, MD and Robert Keim (Marcia) of LeRoy, MN; and his brother-in-law Edward Forrester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
