He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence North and Lela North (Johnson); his sister Jane Norris; and his daughter Amy Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Virginia North; his daughter Nancy North (John Gaddo); his son-in-law James Knapp; his brother-in-law David Norris; his grandchildren, Signe Jordet, Peter Jordet (Catherine), Elise Phillips (Bruce), Emily Knapp Shambaugh (John), Jacob Knapp and Josie Thompson (Quinton); and his great grandchildren, Elliott Phillips, Graham Phillips, Kent Phillips, Mary Jordet, Lela Jordet and Vincent Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
