He was predeceased by: his son Larry Yenter. He is survived by: his wife Carole (Spivey); his children, Cheryl Yenter (David Briars), Paul (Lori Yenter), Virginia Yenter (Bill Yanowsky) and Ruth Yenter (Daniel Yenter); his grandchildren, John, Sara Yenter-Briars, Emma Yenter Yanowsky, Gwendolynn and Sheridan Yenter; and his brothers, John and Allan Yenter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The First Baptist Church of Preston.
