With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Zimmerman of Porter, Minnesota, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dale Zimmerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Zimmerman and Esther Zimmerman (Kamrath); and his brothers, Roger Zimmerman and Ronald Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Loken; his daughter Sonja Zimmerman; his grandson Connor Carlson; his daughter Karla Spitzer (Mark); his grandchildren, Levi and Nora Spitzer; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Zimmerman and Albert Loken (Patty). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel (111 5th St E, Canby, MN 56220). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (108 Haarfager Ave N, Canby, MN 56220).
