It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reuben Tretbar of Ponsford, Minnesota, born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tretbar and Mathilda Tretbar (Bethke); his daughter Regina Hinseth; his great grandchild Jude Zebedee Tretbar; his siblings, George (Margie), Lloyd Tretbar (June) and Grace Schober (Chester); and his sister-in-law Mildred Tretbar.

He is survived by: his wife Hilma Tretbar; his children, Tina Brown (Boe) and Jeffrey Tretbar (Heidi); his grandchildren, Eric Brown (Shannon Blomker), Caleb Brown (Isabelle), Tyler Tretbar (Mandie), Cole Tretbar (Christina), Zachary Tretbar (Chani), Phillip Hinseth (Shelby), Preston Hinseth (Solveig) and Isabella Hinseth; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Berkley Tretbar, Liam, Mila Tretbar, Rennick Tretbar and Easton Brown; and his brother Maurice Tretbar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
