With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Bakken of Ponsford, Minnesota, born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on September 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bakken and Dorothy Bakken (Beeman); his siblings, Harold (Butch), Stanley, Benjamin and Irene Niemi; his wife LaVon Bakken; his daughter Cleo Parker; and his grandson Roman Bakken.
He is survived by: his sisters, Louise Anderson and Betty Haas; his children, Debra Bakken, Robert Bakken (Joanne) and Rhoda Bakken; and his grandchildren, Cory Bakken, Shaun Parker (Tiffany), Robert Bakken Jr., LaVon Larson (Chad), Justin Soyring (Danielle), Joshua Parker, Marion St. Clair and Felecia Cellette. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren; 2 great- great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, & extended family.
