Roger Skjerven Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Skjerven of Plummer, Minnesota, born in Park River, North Dakota, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skjerven and Alice Skjerven (Hanson); his significant other Pollie; his siblings, Jean McCrary and Jerry; and his siblings-in-law, Emilie Skjerven and James Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Peggy Genereux (Kermit), Lorie Gildea (Andrew) and Jim Skjerven (Jenifer); his grandchildren, Kyla Bays (Ben) and Lucas Genereux (Jill); his great grandchildren, Aaron, Emma Jo and Charlotte Grace Bays; and his siblings, LeRoy Skjerven, Don Skjerven (Nancy), John Skjerven (Margaret) and Gayle Peterson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to pandemic precautions, the family will be holding a private funeral service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Tri-Rivers Museum.
