With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Groom of Plummer, Minnesota, born in Brooks, Minnesota, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine Groom to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozias Payment and Doria Payment (Laurel L. Groom); and her brothers, Xavier Payment (Etta) and James Payment (Bertha). She is survived by: her spouse Laurel Groom of Plummer, MN; her daughter Susan K. Groom of Zachary; her brother Sheldon Payment (Gloria) of South Milwaukee, WI; and her granddaughters, Lauren L. Hughes of Zachary and Mia J. Hughes of Zachary. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Due to current COVID restrictions, no memorial service will be held at this time; a private memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
