It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlan Koskela of Plummer, Minnesota, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Koskela and Florence Koskela (Asp); his sister Carol Koskela; his son-in-law Brad Bosch; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Arntson, Edward Peterson, Ole Kvasager, Jr., Bjarne Kvasager (Viola), Otto Kvasager (Donna), Arne Kvasager, Milton Manthei, Maurice Nissen and Annie Kvasager.
He is survived by: his wife Gerda Kvasager; his children, Dean Koskela of Plummer, MN, Debra Walter (Carmen) of Moorhead, MN and Dixie Bosch of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan Walter, Conner and Regan Arlan Bosch; his sisters, Elaine Peterson and Wanda Opdahl (Clyde); and his siblings-in-law, Goodwin Kvasager (Lucille), Einar Kvasager (Carol), Anne Manthei and Helga Nissen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
