We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Richard Earl Sawyer (Plainview, Minnesota), born in Rochester, Minnesota. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Richard Earl Sawyer to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sawyer and Rosalia Sawyer (Shea). He is survived by: his wife Deanna Lockerbie; his children, Shari Lynn Anderson of Nashville, Steve Sawyer (Tami) of Plainview and Eric Sawyer of Lakeville; and his sisters, Kathleen Steffen of Plainview, Jan Ohm of Elgin and Pat Blattner (Melvin) of Lake City. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchild.

Memorials will go to the city of Plainview for improvements to the walking trail (Trees, Benches) which Richard and his dog Murphy enjoyed using.

“Deanna & family, i am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember our time spent with you and tom. In fort myers , the pocono"s and the lake in northern minnesota. Remember your father in the poconos becoming so happy when he knew we were going back to coraopolis. And the lake when cleo kept barking and driving tom crazy.....i never had a brother, but i was lucky to have 3 brother-in-laws . Tom was a wonderful man .
