With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Owen Benton Jr. of Plainview, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on April 19, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Edward Benton Sr. and Vernona Benton (Pischner); his wife Beverly; his son Donald; and his siblings, Audrey, June, Ginner and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Benton (Bylle) of Amboy, MN, Bradley Benton (Terri Dormady) of Plainview and Brenda Benton of Rochester; and his siblings, Gordon Benton (Lizeth) of Huntsville, AL and Marcy Wytaske (Gene) of Mankato, MN. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
