She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Passe and Elvira Passe (Mars); her parents-in-law, Opal Kaupa and Herbert Kaupa; and her brother-in-law Kim Kaupa.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Kaupa; her children, Vietnam, Nancy, Scott Kaupa (Vicki), Debra Bruemmer (Wes), Amy Petersen (Tom) and Katie Nolting (Nate); her grandchildren, Joshua Kaupa, Tyler Kaupa (Aleisha Leonhardt), Brady Kaupa, Nicole Viegut (Eric), Daniel Bruemmer (Gabby Rigden), John Petersen, Miles Nolting and Kira Nolting; her siblings, Edward Passe (Luci), Carol Meyer (Jim) and Fredrick Passe (Alice); and her brother-in-law David Kaupa. She is also survived by four great granddaughters.
