It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hadley Steffenson of Plainview, Minnesota, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nennor Steffenson and Mildred Steffenson (Aure); his brother Earl; his nephew Kyle Steffenson; and his niece Marcy Thronson.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Mae Lovstuen; his children, Arlyn (Kimberly) of Madison, WI, Brian of Rochester, MN and Christina Besse (Michael) of Elgin, MN; his grandsons, Noah, Cole Steffenson, Marcus and Matthew Besse; and his siblings, Judith Thronson (Les) of Rochester, MN, Clara Ann Lovstuen (Neal) of Decorah, IA, William (Joyce) of Waukon, IA, Gordon (Shirley) of Waukon, IA, Glen (Karen) of Elizabeth, IL, David (Gloria) of Owatonna, MN and Neal (Karin) of Owatonna, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Due to the pandemic and restrictions on gatherings, the funeral service will be private for immediate family members only.
