He was predeceased by: his parents, George Standinger and Martha Standinger (Pechacek); his in-laws, Orville and Muriel Kuhlman; and his brothers-in-law, LaVern Kuhlman and Dean Harrington.
He is survived by: his sons, George'Mike" and Jamie "Jay"; his wife Cheryl Kuhlman; his son Mike (Marcy) of Plainview, MN.; his grandchildren, Tia (Jacob), Baighley (Roman), Kennedy, McKenzie (Zach) and Jamie; his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Isaac and Charlie; his siblings, Sally, Sue, Mary (Russ) and Mark (Lori); and his sisters-in-law, Donna (Charlie), Marilyn (John) and Sharon.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home (57 3rd St SW, Plainview, MN 55964). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
