She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Sloan, Jr.; her son Jerry John; her brother Harlan Schulz; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Schulz, Eileen Sloan, Joan Schulz, Mary Wehrs, Valrie Sloan, Ernie Sloan, Glenn Sloan and Lynn Sloan.
She is survived by: her sons, Darvey of Plainview, Joel of Mabel, Robert of Plainview and Gary (Donna) of Lake Elmo; her grandchildren, Matthew Sloan (Molly), Carlena Gallagher (Patrick), Chelsey Sloan, Nicholas Sloan, Jacquelyn Sloan, Dena Sloan (Chris Graf) and Teagan Sloan; her siblings, Duane Schulz of Plainview and Marilyn Mann (Robert) of Buchanon, MI; and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Wehrs of Plainview and Donna Sloan of Hokah.
She hadn't missed attending the county fair until the 2020 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, PEM Sloan Scholarship Fund, Minnesota FFA Foundation, or Donor's preference.
