He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Gengler and Arnold Gengler; and his siblings, Earl, Richard, James, Paul, Gerald, Jerome Gengler and Virgina Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Ben Gengler (Deanna) and Katrina Mezera (Rob); his grandchildren, Sophia, Isaiah, Lillianne, Walter, Jackson and Natalie; and his siblings, Rita Gengler, Lyn Mussaleum (Bob) and John Gengler (Rita). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (5071 Eden Ave, Edina, MN 55436). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joachim Cemetery.
