She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Benike and Lillian Benike (Parker); her husband Roger A. Cyr of Van Buren, Maine.; and her brother Alfred E. Benike Jr. of Chatfield, MN.. She is survived by: her former husband David J. Richardson; her children, Carol Lee Newman (Mikael) of Rochester, MN, Mary Jane Richardson of Red Wing, MN and Mark Richardson (Peggy) of Kellogg, MN.; and her stepchildren, Roger "Jim" Cyr (Cathy) of Biddeford, ME, Mike Cyr of Portland, ME, John Cyr (Sue Ellen) of Santa Clara, CA and Betty Anny Cyr of Livermore, CA.
She was a member of the Baraboo Crane Foundation and did their annual sandhill crane count for 14 years.
