He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sorenson and Jennie Sorenson (Pedersen); his wife Lois; his son Barton; and his brothers, Lauren Sorenson and Robert Sorenson.
He is survived by: his children, Lesa Sorenson of Lakeville, Londa Quittem (Erik) of Lakeville and Bradlee Sorenson (Sandra) of Plymouth, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kallie Billings (Otto), Kira Wicklander (Robert), Kerstyn Hunsaker (Joshua), Nick Sorenson, Dani Sorenson, Jacob Sorenson, Jonah Sorenson, James Sorenson, Riley Sorenson (Elisabeth), Will Sorenson and Elizabeth Purvis (Derek); his great grandchildren, Hadley Wicklander, Bennett Wicklander, Lucas Sorenson, Brodan Purvis and Grady Purvis; and also Ann Sorenson of Edina, Minnesota..
