He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Johannsen and Helen Johannsen (Wikner); his wife Pat; and his siblings, Roger Johannsen, Dorothy Bork, Jeanette Young, Nyla and Joan.
He is survived by: his children, Nikki Edwards (Jon) of Edina, Bill (Kristi) of Hartford, Skot Johannsen of Minneapolis and Todd (Wanda) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Mikel Edwards, Kris Edwards (Sarah), Andrew Johannsen (Rachel), Matthew Johannsen (Jordyn), Ben Johannsen (Savannah) and Abby Johannsen; his great grandchildren, Aaron William Johannsen and Jonathan Edwards; and his sister-in-law Bunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
When the world shut down due to the Pandemic, Bill's life started to shut down also.
