She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Jouwstra and Stegenga; her husband Berton; her granddaughter Heather Renee Verkaik; and her siblings-in-law, Leila (Alfred Teeselink), Shirley Jouwstra and Clarence Doornbos.
She is survived by: her children, Donovan (Karen Tinklenberg) of Woodstock, MN, Bradley (Bonnie Tinklenberg) of Crystal, MN, Dawn (Thomas Verkaik) of Redlands, CA and Brian (Leah Tinklenberg) of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Sheila Meyrahn, Scott TInklenberg, Nathan Tinklenberg, Hope Garrett, Sara Tinklenberg, Kimberly Lee, Kevin Verkaik and Alysha Humphrey; and her siblings, Frank (Mina Jouwstra) of Luverne, MN, Peter (Sharlene Jouwstra) of Jenison, MI, Jim (Carole) of Sun City, CA, Janice (George Zant) of Omaha, NE and Glenda (Roger) of Charlotte, TN. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
