He is survived by: his wife Wanda Powell of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, Jared Powell of Sioux Falls, Kade Powell (Mandi) of Brandon, Matt Yonkers of Aurora and Kimberly Johnson (Steven) of Aurora; his siblings, Janelle Steffen (Larry) of Colman, Sharolyn Paige of Cape Coral, Nancy Powell of Sioux Falls, Rick Powell (Tamara) of Brandon and Jodee Griebel (Mark) of Pipestone; and his grandchildren, Cali Powell, Chance, Cade Eide, Leland, Leia Yonkers, Crosby and Savannah Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Pipestone (621 Main St W, Pipestone, MN 56164). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the New Woodlawn Cemetery - Pipestone (676 116th St, Pipestone, MN 56164).
