He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Kuhlman and Martha Kuhlman (Rasmussen); his wife Norma Lange; his son Larry; and his brothers, Merle and Harold Kuhlman.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kuhlman (Dee) of Tyler, Dale Kuhlman (Patty) of Tyler, Rhonda Ollerich (Steve) of Dell Rapids and Todd Kuhlman (Susan) of Aurora, Colorado; his siblings, Harlan Kuhlman of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Arlene Smesrud of Sioux Falls; and his close friend Shirley Wathen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
