He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ostermeier; his fiancée Cindy Ahlers of Pipestone; his children, Stephanie Foster of Brookings, Anthony Rustad (Elizabeth Martinez) of Pipestone and Timothy Rustad of Pipestone; his stepsons, Justin Ahlers (Dana) of Lafayette, Jeremy Ahlers of Pipestone and Travis Ahlers (Emily) of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Steve Rustad of Spicer, Julie Rustad of Willmar, Jodi Vandesteeg (Larry) of Willmar and Dana Rustad of Willmar; his grandchildren, Thosten Silva, Tyler Richardson, Audrey Foster, Emily Foster, Addison Rustad, Meritt Rustad, Traeten Rustad, Caleb Ahlers and Thomas Ahlers; and his pets, Tucker and Henri.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Woodlawn Cemetery - Pipestone (676 116th St, Pipestone, MN 56164).
