He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Chris and Laura Luella Oye (Ralfs); his former wife Phyllis Butman; his grandson Tanner Oye; and his siblings, Marcella Hoisington and Morris Oye.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Oye of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, Jacque Swanson (Scott) of Pipestone and Lance Oye (Tammy) of Pipestone; his stepsons, David Vostrejs (Bobbie) of Phoenix, Leslie Vostrejs (Alejandrina) of Scottsdale, Philip Vostrejs (Lisa) of Scottsdale and Mark Vostrejs of Houston, Texas; his niece Jackie Burggraff (Glenn); his sister Dallas Etrheim of Hardwick, Minnesota; and his brother-in-law Gregg Butman (Dianne) of Pipestone. He is also survived by family; three grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
