He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Punt and Wilhelmina Punt (Vande Berg); his siblings, Ralph, Donald, Henry and Audrey Groen; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Punt and Alvina Punt.
He is survived by: his wife Gracia Punt of Pipestone; his children, Gary Punt (Coleen) of Edgerton, MN, Larry Punt (Arlene) of Edgerton and Linda Boersma (Gene) of Pipestone; his siblings, LeRoy Punt of Sioux Center, IA and Dorothy Van Briesen (Curtis) of Sioux Center; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Bidwell of Sioux Center and Lawrence Groen of Sioux Center. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren.
