He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hinrichs (Klindt) and Alfred Hinrichs; and his brother Edward Burch. He is survived by: his children, Austin Burch (Alba) of Rio Rancho and Lauren Wallaert (Jeremy) of Estacada, Oregon; his sister Elaine Uilk (Elroy) of Pipestone, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Adeline, Autumn, Amelia Burch, Hailey and Norah Wallaert.

His work at Project Turnabout was his greatest contribution to the community.
