He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marlene Brockberg and Richard Brockberg (Mary Lou); his sister-in-law Lynn Brockberg; and his parents, Walter Brockberg and Paula Brockberg (Stueven).
He is survived by: his brother Wayne Brockberg of Pipestone; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Gabaldon of Las Vegas, Scott Brockberg (Mary) of Rogers, David Brockberg (Mary) of Pipestone, Darla Barber (Brian) of Sioux Falls, Jodi Brockberg of Pipestone, Sarah Schnell of Sioux Falls and Steven Brockberg of Plainview, Nebraska; and his caregiver Stacy Gackstetter. He is also survived by numerous cousins and family.
