He was predeceased by: his mother Roberta Stangeland (Cadotte); his grandmother Karen Cadotte; and his great-grandparents, Silas and Dorothy Stangeland. He is survived by: his father Ted Stangeland of Jasper; his wife Kasey Vander Plaats of Chancellor; his grandparents, Craig and JoAnn Stangeland of Jasper; his siblings, Sylas Stangeland of Harlan, Camden, Raina Jayne King of Harlan and Allison Odens of Pipestone; and his nieces, Harriet Odens and Kobie Vander Plaats. He is also survived by friends and was a favorite of his nieces and younger siblings.
