She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Sorensen and Clara Sorensen (Bornholdt); her husband Harold Markl; and her siblings, Wayne Sorensen, Ethel Huhnstock and Gladys Lingen.
She is survived by: her children, Helen, Sid, Cafe, Thunders Nest, Joyce Buffington (Dennis) of Coon Rapids, Susan Markl of Sioux Falls, Joe Markl (Kim) of Worthing, Tammy Dock of Pipestone, Lehn Lovelett (James) of Pipestone, Lori Markl of Pipestone, Teresa Byers (Doug) of Sioux Falls and Kevin Markl of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other loving friends.
