She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Sportel and Henry Sportel; her son Bruce; and her siblings, JoAnn Ankrum and Henry "Spark" Sportel.

She is survived by: her children, Brent of St. Clair, Minnesota and Renee (Kent Moe) of Scottsdale, Arizona; her granddaughter Shelby Moe of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter-in-law DeAnna Huibregtse of Fort Collins, Colorado; and her brother Ray Sportel (Gen) of Lake Benton, Minnesota..
