She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomssen and Hazel Thomssen (Kaufman); her husband Willard Eldon Madsen; her brother Gordon Thomssen; and her son-in-law Warren Matzen.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Matzen of Sioux Falls, Jeffrey Madsen of Ruthton and Timothy Madsen (Laurie) of Ruthton; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Katie, Philip and Anna; and her sister Isabell Biever (Wayne) of Luverne, Minnesota..
