He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Winter and Lorraine Winter (Hauglid); his brother Bill Winter; his brother-in-law Jerry Popma; and his nephew Jamie Winter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Winter of Pipestone; his daughters, Tammy Fleck (Dale) of Hutchinson and Stacy Claussen (Rick Timm) of White; his grandchildren, Jeremy Fleck, Brady Claussen (Kyla Schuler), Jayden Fleck (Amber), Bianca Claussen (Kipper Johnson), Carter Timm and Payton Timm (Taylor Moritz); his great grandchildren, Brody, Scarlett, Madden and Baby; his siblings, Gary Winter (Joanne) of Pipestone, Gayle Popma of Pipestone, Tom Winter (Carla Bruning) of Pipestone and Shelly Kozlowski (Jon) of Pipestone; and his siblings-in-law, Arleen Heidebrink, Claire Larson (Margaret) and George Larson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Pipestone (621 Main St W, Pipestone, MN 56164). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the New Woodlawn Cemetery - Pipestone (654 116th St, Pipestone, MN 56164).
