She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wende and Myrtle Wende (Swanson); her husband Ardean Quissell; and her brother Theodore. She is survived by: her children, Diane Eitreim (Alan) of Rapid City, Steven Quissell (Mary) of Rapid City, Rosanne Waxdahl (Donald) of Flandreau, Karen Reddy (Tom) of Carmel and Keith Quissell of Brookings; her grandchildren, Jason, Kelly Eitreim, Brian Quissell, Wende Hughes, Heather, Joshua Waxdahl, Ryan and Lauren Reddy; and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Jacob, Kaleb Eitreim, Lily, Eli Quissell, Tatum, Oakley Hughes, Austin, Marlowe Reddy, Benjamin and Elijah Reinberg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (48458 240th St, Flandreau, SD 57028). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Bethania Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Messiah Lutheran Church (Memorial Fund), Pipestone County Hospice House or Bethania-Oslo Cemetery Association.
