Delores Mae Runge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Mae Runge (Pipestone, Minnesota), who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delores Mae Runge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Runge and Clara Runge (Lembcke); her brother Harris; her sister-in-law Rita Runge of Barron, WI; her niece Karen; and her friend Lorraine Halbersma.
She is survived by: her nieces, Carol Olson (Dennis) of Eau Claire, WI and Sharon Tahtinen (Scott) of Barron, WI; her close friends, Dennis and Diane Hansen of Pipestone; and her friends, John Halbersma, Connie Robards, Douglas, David and Duane Halbersma. She is also survived by two great-nieces; one great-nephew, one great-great niece; two great-great-nephews.
In 1985, after Nicollet Press closed, she went back to work at the Star Office where she worked fulltime until 1996 doing mostly proofreading work until the Coronovirus Pandemic hit in 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pipestone Performing Arts Center in Pipestone, Minnesota.
