He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Leonard Johnson and Luella Johnson (Winter); his brother Kenny Johnson; his granddaughter Kelsey Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Bergan and Sherry West.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Johnson of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, Kevin Johnson (Renee) of Chancellor, Kerry Johnson of Pipestone and Jennie Budahl (Adam) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson and Madison Johnson; his sisters, Barbara Brecher (Ronald) of Pipestone, Mary Lou Bergan of Ocala, Kathy Pensyl of Edina and Sonia Schelhaas of New Prague, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Landis of Flandreau, Tom Landis (Jo) of Garretson and Margaret Ziemer (Mike) of Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164).
