We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 95, Betty Allen of Pipestone, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perley Shurtliff and Catherine Shurtliff (White); her husband Louie of Paul's Episcopal Church; and her pet Dusty. She is survived by: her children, Randy Allen (Twyla) of Pipestone, Minnesota and Rhonda Schumann of Pipestone, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Cory Schumann (Shari) of Pipestone, Minnesota and Jennifer Fischer of Audubon, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Austin Edmundson (Kolbie Benson), Trevor Schumann (Jada Wiese), Jada Schumann, Zachary Grimes and Devin Fischer; and her great great grandchildren, Karly, Skyler and Alaina Edmundson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hartquist Funeral Home - Pipestone Chapel (320 2nd Ave SW, Pipestone, MN 56164). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the New Woodlawn Cemetery - Pipestone (676 116th St, Pipestone, MN 56164).
