He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Blom and Bertha Blom (Schelhaas); and his grandson Allen. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Blom; his children, Lois Hellwinckel (Jeff) of Pipestone, Bonnie Gunnink (Brian) of Sioux Falls, Brenda Engle (Reed) of Wessington Springs and Scott Blom (Amy) of Pipestone; his grandchildren, Amanda, Sandra, Ashley, April and Melissa; and his great grandchildren, Aidyn, Amber, Noah, Addisyn and Sophia.
