He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie and Gert; his wife Marcia; his son Bob; his son-in-law Craig; his grandson John Paul; and his sisters, Karen and Kathy.

He is survived by: his children, Barb Ritter (Bill), Deb Maier (Tom), Sue Donoghue and Bill (Cheri). He is also survived by his son, grandsons and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
