He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matilda Goble Gorman and George Saunders Gorman; his former wife Anita Ludemann; his wife Shirley Bengtson; his daughters, Deborah Lortz (James), Roberta Guthrie (Kerry), Katherine Beattie (David) and Glenda Goulding (Aaron); and his stepchildren, Debbie Troxler, Kathy Bille, Dave Munson, Danelle Johnson and Eric Bengtson. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Riverview Church in Pine River, or Encounter Assembly of God Church in Great Bend, KS.
