He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia; his parents, Matt Theis and Ava Theis; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Smegal (Steve), Barbara Russell, Susan Stevens (Paul), Thomas Theis (Julia) and Tim Theis (Gabriela). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
