It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Johnson (Pine River, Minnesota), born in Ringsted, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 110, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marius Houg and Minna Houg; her siblings, Cora Smith, Muriel Buss, Clifford, Kenneth, Harlan and Elsworth "Bud" Houg; and her daughter Judy Houser (Johnson).
She is survived by: her son Alan Johnson (Pat); her grandchildren, Tawna Staples (Brad), Andy Johnson (Sarah) and Lee Johnson (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Oliver and Hannah Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
