He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia and Carl; his daughter Kim Wahlstrom; and his siblings, Jane Stroebl, Deanna Mosley, Ruth Gould, Karl Backman and Pete Backman.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Dawn Clobes (Jon); his grandchildren, Nathan Clobes (Jessie), Joshua Clobes (Samantha), Abigail Clobes, David Clobes (Danielle), Hannah Clobes and Andrew Clobes; his great grandchildren, James, Madelyn, Naomi and Lenora; his sister Karen Backman; and his siblings-in-law, David Mosley and Margaret Backman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
