He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Johnson and Bonna Belle Johnson of Milaca, MN.; and his son Mark Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Sitz; his children, Michelle Johnson (Jessica Knutsen) and Blaine Johnson; his siblings, Joan Gustad, Bonnie Lueck (George) and Lee Johnson (Denice); his grandchildren, Kristi Landry (James) and Zachary Johnson (Cheryl); his great grandchildren, Kali, Cornelius, Ashlyn Landry, Rosalee, Mirabelle and Liliana Johnson; his close friends, Bob and JoAnn Fladung; and his extended family, Janet and Al Barbeln.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Lutheran Church, Pine River.
