He is survived by: his wife Judy; his brother David Sandberg (Wanda); his children, Connie Christensen (Arvid), Carrie Larson (Ray), Ronnie Sandberg (Lisa) and Jay Sandberg (Shelly); and his grandchildren, Nancy Fenstermaker (Daniel), Eric Kline (Traci), Kevin Christensen (Jen), Jeff Kline (Lora), Kyle Sandberg (Jen) and Matt Kline (Samantha). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
