She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey and Amelia Hoover; her siblings, Ella, Earl and Ray; her husband Vern Carlson; and her son Randy.

She is survived by: her daughter Pam Dalbey (Terry); and her grandchildren, Karen Lindaman (David) and Lance Dalbey (Trixie). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
