It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Pelzl (Pine River, Minnesota), born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Pelzl and Ruth Pelzl; his wife Tina; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his children, Brock (Jodi Nelson), Barb and Roger (Maria); his friend Denny Loftstrom; his children, Barbara Goochey (Darrel) and Robert; his brothers, Ted and David (Jan); and his grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Anna, Kristofer, Tiffany, Jeff, Christina, Emily, Joe and James. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

“To all, so many memories as a child...your parents and your family on the river...at the lake...picnics at our cabin... I’ve always been deeply thankful that Chuck and Tina were godparents to me...I learned later in life how precious your dad was to my father Jim Uhrinak. Before my dad died he shared many memories of fishing and hunting with Chuck. He had the upmost respect for him and truly cherished him as a dear friend. Peace from our Lord. Love, Aimee”
